The pantry is open the 1st Tuesday and 3rd Saturday of each month.

FEBRUARY DISTRIBUTION

Tuesday, February 7th, 10a.m. - noon
Saturday, February 18th, 10a.m.- noon

As a joint ministry of First Lutheran and the First United Methodist Church, our mission is to
help provide nutritious food to those hungry and in need. Our hours are 10am-noon on the first
Tuesday and third Saturday of each month. If emergency food is needed at another time, please
contact Jean Royalty at 815-522-4452 or 815-885-4035, or Wanda Karolus at 522-3853.

We have an ongoing need for paper products, brown paper bags, and soap. By ordering through
the Northern Illinois Food Bank, we are able to purchase much food at a low cost, and welcome
donations of money or food at any time.

We welcome volunteers to help with delivery days, setting up, and distribution. Jill Vodden is in charge
of organizing volunteers. If you would like to help, please contact her at (815) 393-4541 or 
jillvodden@atcyber.net with your offers of assistance. Sign up sheets are also located on the 
freezer door in the food pantry.

It is really appreciated by those who are in need.

Help is needed to set up the pantry at 3:00 p.m. the afternoon before distribution days,
as well as carrying food down when it's delivered (usually the 1st Thursday of the month at 1:30 p.m, and the 3rd Monday of the month at 11:30 a.m.).
