Our
Thrivent Builds work day of July 26th has been postponed due to delays in
getting the project started.
This means our first work date is now September 13th. The
July 26th work date has been reassigned to the end of the schedule on
November 1st. While
it is disappointing, I suppose we could be glad that the weather will not
be steamy hot when we will be swinging hammers! I
encourage everyone to stay enthused! Watch the progress in If you have questions, please contact me at 815-739-4229 or at raudens@gkschools.org. Thanks

SAVE YOUR CANCELLED STAMPS Save your cancelled stamps for Mosaic, where handicapped Lutherans sort and sell them. Foreign stamps are worth more but any USA stamps should be cut with 1/4" edges. If you tear them off envelopes, don't destroy the stamp. Give to Alice Hintzsche or Louise Hoffman at any time.

EMERGENCY CLOSING INFORMATION In the event that we would call off church related activities due to inclement weather or another emergency, our church website would be the first place to check for that information. In addition, calls would be made to local TV and radio stations to post it as well. If weather is so severe that you feel it is too dangerous to drive, you should stay home.
