EMERGENCY CLOSING INFORMATION
AND LAST-MINUTE
SCHEDULE CHANGES AND/OR CANCELLATIONS

In the event that we would call off church related activities due to inclement weather or another emergency, our church website would be the first place to check for that information. Just scroll down the left column until you find "Click here for the latest cancellations and postponements". Click on it to take you to the closing page.

If weather is so severe that you feel it is too dangerous to drive, please stay home.

LOOKING FOR LINKS

Most of us are comforted by and recognize the value of being lifted up in prayer, most often at times of illness, injury or bereavement. This usually happens during the Parish Concerns part of the weekend worship services. On occasion we receive word of an urgent prayer concern or request that just can’t wait for the weekend bulletins. It’s times like these that might call our prayer chain into action. If you’d like to be a “link” to the First Lutheran Prayer Chain, please let Jo (522-3886 or 522-2005) know as soon as possible. She’ll need your name and all phone numbers to reach you at, and will put together an updated list for each “link”.

A user name and password will be necessary to access the online church photo directory from our website. You must obtain your initial user name and password from Jo in the church office; changing it is an option. See Jo, jo@kirklandflc.org, or Shari Novotny, webmaster@kirklandflc.org, with questions.

Please help us update our records…

Pastor Rasmussen and Jo Boehmer are always in the process of updating our church records. We’ve found that many are incomplete – missing information such as current phone numbers and addresses, cell phone numbers, email addresses, birthdates, anniversary dates, baptismal dates, family additions, etc. We’d appreciate it if you could help us in our endeavor to have complete records by taking some time and writing as much of that information as you have down, and getting it to Pastor or Jo ASAP. The address at church is First Lutheran, P.O. Box 287 , Kirkland , IL   60146 . Thank you!
