INVASION OF DUST BUNNIES! Join us on Saturday, February 11,
for a pre-Lent cleaning of the church. There’s lots to do, so we plan to
start about 8am. Come when you can and leave when you must. The dust
bunnies love all of the nooks and crannies in our beautiful old church,
and have made themselves quite at home. And the guy from Orkin can’t
help us; he only does bugs, not bunnies. |

EMERGENCY CLOSING In the event that we would call off church-related activities due to inclement weather or another emergency, our church website www.kirklandflc.org would be the first place to check for that information. In addition, calls would be made to local TV and radio stations to post it as well. If weather is so severe that you feel it is too dangerous to drive, you should stay home.

Please
help us update Pastor
Rasmussen and Jo Boehmer are always in the process of updating our
church records. We’ve found that many are incomplete – missing
information such as current phone numbers and addresses, cell phone
numbers, email addresses, birthdates, anniversary dates, baptismal dates,
family additions, etc. We’d appreciate it if you could help us in our
endeavor to have complete records by taking some time and writing as much
of that information as you have down, and getting it to Pastor or Jo ASAP.

LOOKING FOR LINKS Most
of us are comforted by and recognize the value of being lifted up in
prayer, most often at times of illness, injury or bereavement. This
usually happens during the Parish Concerns part of the weekend worship
services. On occasion we receive word of an urgent prayer concern or
request that just can’t wait for the weekend bulletins. It’s times
like these that might call our prayer chain into action. If you’d like
to be a “link” to the First Lutheran Prayer Chain, please let Jo
(522-3886 or 522-2005) know as soon as possible. She’ll need your name
and all phone numbers to reach you at, and will put together an updated
list for each “link”.

OFFICE BOX DELIVERY
NEEDS P.O. BOX NUMBERS! A letter from Kirkland Postmaster
Carolyn Suhr informs us that for customers getting post office box
delivery, using only street addresses is no longer acceptable; your P.O.
Box number must be included. The sorting machines used by the postal
service may not recognize a street address of a post office box holder.
