The Bishop of the Lao Evangelical Church (LEC) of Laos will be visiting the USA.  We are hosting a Mission Festival @ First Lutheran Church, Kirkland, IL (NALC). Bishop Khamdeng will be preaching on both services, Saturday, August 6, and Sunday, August 7. On Sunday, August 7 at 4 PM, the bishop will have a chance to share about the ministry work in Laos and how the church has been growing in a communist country. The Bishop and Pr. Tom will also share ministry opportunities churches can partner with the LEC to spread the Gospel. We hope that you can send your pastor and/or a representative from your congregation to hear about the work of the Gospel in Laos. Just a note: Rev. Thomas’ wife is from Laos and is a pastor of the LEC.
